The Finance Division, in alignment with the district mission and goals, works to enhance and foster the institutional effectiveness of the San Diego Unified School District. In 2009-10, the division carried out its fiscal duties and responsibilities by managing the district's $2.2 billion budget and finances, and overseeing essential support services.

The Finance Division develops information and recommends policies and procedures for strategic short-term and long-term financial management and planning.
The Finance Division vision is to offer "High Tech/High Touch" financial services to our partners to help ensure the efficient use of district resources.
