Chief of Staff
Serve as liaison and counsel to the Board of Education, Superintendent and senior administrators regarding necessary and appropriate actions to communicate the mission, vision and priorities of the district that generate public understanding and support of the role, objectives, accomplishments and needs of the district.
Act as advisor to the Superintendent on all matters relating to assigned areas of responsibility.
Make recommendations concerning the implementation of goals and objectives including proposed Board policy; provide administrative oversight for the preparation and completion of reports and interpretations of related data for administrators, staff and the public for effective decision-making by managers and the Superintendent.
Provide support to the Superintendent related to the district’s overall operations and related support activities; provide leadership for implementation and monitoring of services; support assessment and tracking of progress in achieving goals and plan implementation to accomplish district objectives.
Develop and continuously enhance an integrated communications network within the district and the community in order to support an effective work environment; communicate Board policies, objectives and service innovations to district staff and the general community; facilitate the dissemination of information about the services provided by the district.
- Advise the Superintendent and administrators on regulations, policies and procedures; serve on committees, task forces and ad hoc groups as necessary to coordinate functions for assigned areas of responsibility.
