Cadent Picnic: On October 12, 2013, Morse High School’s JROTC participated in the Annual Cadet Picnic hosted by the San Diego Unified School District’s joint Brigade at Admiral Baker’s Field. Morse Cadets competed against 13 other schools in multiple events such as Tug a War, Sack Relay, Bat Spin, Relay Race and many other engaging and teamwork building activities. Morse won 1st place in four out of seven events as well as overall first place trophy for the third year in a row. 

 Parking Permits: Get your 2013-14 Parking Permit immediately in order to avoid receiving a citation (Monday, 10/14, was the deadline). Staff – see Carla Rodman in the main office. Students – see Officer Prevost in room 803 before school, at lunch or after school. Bring your completed application, vehicle registration, insurance verification and driver’s license.

"TRAVEL TO EUROPE! Club International students have visited fascinating places such as England, Spain, China, France, and Italy. We are scheduled to make our next visit during July 2014. If you are interested in visiting Europe next summer, please stop by Room 304 for more information.

SDSU Representative will be here on Tuesday, October 22nd to speak to the 12th grade about admissions and application process for San Diego State University. Please share with your seniors about this college visit. Spaces are limited. They can sign up for the presentation in the Student Success office in room 100 or the Counseling Office. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Flint or Ms. Ward.

 Teachers and Staff! Morse Boot Camp meets every Wednesday and Friday at 2:45 in front of the library. Bring a mat and water and join this great opportunity for group exercise! Please contact Rina Bautista if you have any questions. 

Morse High School Staff: The Morse Tiger Cub Preschool is accepting registration for the 2013-2014 school year. The preschooler must be four years of age before September 1, 2013 and have proof of immunizations against polio, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough (DTaP), hepatitis B (Hep B) and chickenpox (Varicella or proof of having had chickenpox). The first day of Tiger Cub preschool is October 28, 2013.
