    ACES/arc:   Attention Foodies!  Cooking Club will be held on Wednesday and Thursday  at 2:30 until 4:00PM in Room 153.  Hosted by Mrs. Turner and other Guest Chefs from Mission Bay High School! Please join us! (Turner 12/5)

    Late bus information:  Students riding the late bus…either 4:30 or 5:30 must have a bus pass in order to ride the late bus. In order to receive a late bus pass, students must attend after school tutoring, either within a teachers classroom or through the ACES program. Or one of the many afterschool clubs/activates. Or participate in an a sport. This will begin on Monday, December 1st. (Admin)

    Students do not punch a hole in your Z-pass or it will demagnetize them and then you will have to pay for your replacement! (Moreno 11/21)

    "Congratulations to the following Cross Country runners for qualifying for the CIF Finals on Saturday at Morley Field.  The boys race is at 10:40 a.m.  Running in that race will be Sophomore Dylan Kasper, Sophomore Trevor Ham, Sophomore Jacob Cayetano, Junior Tosh Knight, Junior Chris Nettles, Freshman Jason Watts, and Sophomore Finn Snead.  The girls race is at 12:15 pm and will consist of Junior Hannah Bloom, Junior Georgia Osburn, Sophomore Alex Briski, and Sophomore Haylee Thiel.  Come out and cheer these runners on as they give it their all.      The Brad Fowler Memorial Scholarship Fund offers a one-year, $5,000 scholarship to five high school seniors in San Diego County. The nominee must have demonstrated an ability to overcome personal obstacles associated with drugs or alcohol, a strong commitment to athletics and a desire to continue personal growth and development through higher education.  There is no minimum GPA requirement, but academic growth will be considered. Submission Deadline: Friday, February 20, 2015 Please see your counselor if interested. (Landau 2/20)

    TODAY  is the last chance for seniors to get after school help on college applications!  Cal-SOAP will be in the library running a college app workshop from 2:15-3:15 in computer lab #2.  Come receive help with entering transcript grades, personal statements, etc.  This is the last week to receive application help before apps are due!

    This free workshop series will teach MBHS students what to expect on the SAT, an important college admissions tests. Do all universities accept an ACT score as well as SAT? When should you guess or leave a question blank? What’s a “good” score? How can you write an essay in just 25 minutes? We’ll answer all these questions and give you a chance to practice questions and apply the strategies you learn. Instructor: Karla Whitaker from Cal-SOAP.

    A new enrichment program is forming to paint murals at Mission Bay High School.  Mural Painters-Mission Bay (MPMB) will meet Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in room 232.  If you want the opportunity to learn the methods of mural painting while leaving a lasting impression on this school, check it out. 

    Check in with ARC in room 233, or with Ms. Henkes in room 232 if you are interested in joining Mural Painters-Mission Bay. (Henkes 11/6)

    Students if you need a Z-Pass replacement or temporary for the day you must come before school starts or during lunch to the counseling office and see Mrs. Moreno.     1. No head coverings unless it is part of the costume, NO masks or FULL face paint. Staff members must be able to identify students.
