    HALLOWEEN COUSTUMS:  Helpful reminders for your halloween attire.

    1. No head coverings unless it is part of the costume, NO masks or FULL face paint. Staff members must be able to identify students.

    2. Costumes that are provocative, revealing, sexual in nature, or employ questionable props are not permitted.

    3. Costumes that depict violence, alcohol, or drugs are not permitted. Fake weapons are not allowed.

    4. Costumes that could be offensive or perpetuate a stereotype of someone’s culture, gender, heritage, or religion are not permitted.

    5. Costumes should not hinder your ability to participate in your classes, including P.E. Costumes may not disrupt or impede traffic, or present issues of safety in the hallway.

    Students wearing questionable costumes will be asked to change into normal school attire.

    If you have any questions regarding the appropriateness of your costume idea, we encourage you to speak with Ms. Leszynski or Mrs. Landau.

    Today, October 23, 2014, we will be giving the ASVAB Test, (Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery). It is the most widely used multiple-aptitude test battery in the world. The ASVAB also provides you with career information for various civilian and military occupations and is an indicator for success in future endeavors whether you choose to go to college, vocational school, or a military career. It will be administered in the Library from 8-12pm. We are looking for Seniors to volunteer to take it. Please see, Counselor, Mr. Samuels for any questions. (Samuels 10/23)

    On Thursday, October 23, 2014, we will be giving the ASVAB Test, (Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery). It is the most widely used multiple-aptitude test battery in the world. The ASVAB also provides you with career information for various civilian and military occupations and is an indicator for success in future endeavors whether you choose to go to college, vocational school, or a military career.
