    Graffiti Clean-Up

Saturday, May 3rd, 9am to noon

PB Presbyterian Church (1675 Garnet Ave.)

Students will earn service hours while learning how to safely remove graffiti and then going to an assigned area in the community to put that training to work.  Under 18 must have waiver signed by parent (Waiver Attached).  We encourage parents to attend, but it is not mandatory.  Unaccompanied minors will be placed in small groups with at least one adult. This is a great, positive event for our community.  Each year, our volunteers get rid of about 1000 tags in just a few hours.  Since we began having this event, we have noticed a significant reduction in graffiti in our community.  And when graffiti does occur, the PB residents we have trained at our events are much more likely to remove it quickly, which further discourages the taggers.  This event builds pride in our community and gives everyone a sense of satisfaction as they "take-back" and beautify our community. Feel free to contact me or the PBTC if you have questions or need more information.

This event builds pride in our community and gives everyone a sense of satisfaction as they "take-back" and beautify our community.Feel free to contact me or the PBTC if you have questions or need more information.PBTC: general@pbtowncouncil.org   (858) 483-6666  www.pbtowncouncil.org (Beckett 5/3
