lot. Please be safe

not be opening the back
gate on rainy due to the
unsafe conditions of the
back ramp area and water

Miscellaneous Schedules |

Running Club is every
Monday, Wednesday and
Friday at 7:25am.
Entry time is at 7:20am.
Breakfast is served at
7:15am.
Students may enter the
campus at 7:35am when
the first bell rings.
There will be
supervision at this
time. |

Voters Approve School Repair and Safety
Measure: Proposition "S" |
|
Proposition “S” is a
$2.1 billion bond
measure that the Board
of Education is placing
before the voters on the
November 4th ballot. If
approved by 55% of the
voters, Proposition “S”
will:
-
Provide bond funds
to repair and
renovate our
schools.
-
Extend the current
Proposition “MM” tax
rate ($66.70 per
$100,000 assessed
value of taxable
property), which
expires in 2029, to
2044. This new bond
will not increase
the current tax.
-
Provide funding for
facility improvement
projects at 180
school sites
throughout the
district.
Improvements for our
school are specified in
the bond resolution and
are available on the
district website at
www.sandi.net/PropS. |

Fundraiser - Cloth Grocery Bags |
|
 Sandburg Foundation
is selling
custom cloth
grocery bags
with Sandburg logo
as a fundraiser.
All proceeds will go
directly to
Sandburg. To
order, please fill
out an
order form
and return the
form with payment to
the school front
office. The
Foundation in turn
will put the bags
with the child's
name in the teachers
boxes.
A sample of the
cloth grocery bag
will be on display
at Sandburg bulletin
board. These
bags will also be
available for
purchase at the
carnival in October.

Supply Lists |

Because of our current budget
crisis, Sandburg is asking parents/guardians to
voluntarily supply (donate) their child with the
list of learning tools below. This is only on a
volunteer basis, so if you are unable to donate
these supplies, please notify your child’s teacher
the first week of school. This will allow the
teacher to have the time to get the needed
supplies for your child. Any items that are not
used by the classroom teacher will be placed in
our supply room for other teachers to use. We
thank you for your continuous support. |
