Overview
State of California and Federal laws require employers, such as the San Diego Unified School District, to display the following seventeen (17) posters. Failure to comply with this law can result in state-imposed monetary penalties, and any incurred penalties will be allocated to your site budget.
These posters must be displayed in a conspicuous location that is frequented by employees. Acceptable areas would include the staff lounge, mail or copy room, or a hallway that is used for posting messages. Non-regulatory messages should not be included with, or displayed over, the mandatory posters.
All of the posters are sized to print on regular paper size (8.5x11). Please feel free to enlarge, use card stock, or laminate them if you wish. If you have additional questions and issues regarding properly displaying these posters, please call Dean Warner, Risk Management, at (858) 627-7352, or by email to dwarner1@sandi.net.
