Purpose,
Philosophy and Mission Statement
of
the
Pershing
Middle School Governance Council
It
is the purpose of this governance council, acting through the philosophy of
shared decision-making, to provide every Pershing Middle School student with
an education of the highest quality, that focuses on the unique academic,
social, physical and emotional needs of the middle school student; by
maintaining a safe and disciplined learning environment; a modern,
challenging curriculum and by designing and implementing policies that
foster professional development and satisfaction among Pershing staff and
parents.
