Meeting Schedule for 2008-09
We meet on
the second Tuesday of each month.
All meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. in the school library unless otherwise
noted.

14, 2008
The October 14th
meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end promptly at 6:25 p.m. For those
who wish to stay, Evening with
the Principal will follow at 6:30 p.m.
We
will not meet in November since the second Tuesday is a holiday.

From the Pershing Foundation
Parents really do make the difference!
The Pershing Foundation is happy
to announce the purchase of ten new computers for the library computer lab.
The addition of these new computers allows the lab to finally switch over to the
Mac OS X. This is an important step in integrating the entire school to keep up
with the ever changing advancements available to our students.
The Foundation is also looking into funding a much needed drinking fountain for
the upper field. The process is in the beginning phase of doing a cost analysis
but preliminary estimates look very promising. The drinking fountain would add
much greater flexibility to our physical education program and be great for the
community after school.
Parents really do make a difference. We invite all our parents to join the
Foundation and make a difference for our school and the community. Wouldn't you
like to be part of all the action? Come join us in making Pershing the best it
can be for our children.
