FROM THE SOUTH
Starting at the corner of Garnet Street and Ingraham Street in central Pacific Beach...
> Go north on Ingraham Street.
> Ingraham turns into Foothill Blvd at Beryl; continue on Foothhill.
> Foothill turns to the west to become Turquoise Street at the intersection at Fanuel where there is a stop light. You will see the grounds of PB Elementary from this intersection.
> Turn left at the stop light on Fanuel.
> Turn Right at Tourmaline (the next street to the south).

 FROM THE NORTH
Starting in La Jolla at any point along La Jolla Boulevard...
> Go south on La Jolla Boulevard
> Turn left onto Turqoise Street (there is a turn lane below the large billboard)
> Continue on Turqoise street through the intersection on Mission Blvd.
> Turn right at the stop light on Fanuel.
> Turn right at Tourmaline (the next street to the south).

Attendance and Absences Policy
When a child will be absent, parents must call the school office at (858) 488- 8316 by 9:00 a.m. If the phone call is not possible, please have your child bring a note on the first day of his/her return. Valid absence notes require student's full name, absence date, specific reason for absence and parent's signature. Children who arrive late to school miss valuable classroom time and cause classroom disruption. Please see that your children are on time for school. Please obtain a homework contract for absences of 5 days or more. Homework contracts mean the school district does not lose state funding due to absences.

6 to 6 Program
Pacific Beach Elementary offers an extended school day program available free of charge to provide students with a structured after-school experience. The program is run by Harmonium in collaboration with the City of San Diego.

Before school hours M-F 6:30 - 7:30 a.m.
After school hours M-T-Th-F 2:10-6:00 p.m.
Wed. 11:55-6:00p.m.

• Pacific Beach Elementary has an outstanding GATE/Seminar program that is selected by children from La Jolla, Bay Park, Clairemont and other areas.
