FOPBE - Friends of Pacific Beach Elementary
Our non-profit, Parent-Teacher Organization, "Friends of Pacific Beach Elementary" (FOPBE) provides fundraising and support activities for the students of Pacific Beach Elementary. This highly active organization is comprised of parent members, teacher and staff representatives and the principal. EVERY parent/guardian is a welcome and important member of FOPBE. Working together, FOPBE helps create an environment that keeps our children flourishing!

ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
FOPBE raises money and provides resource and staff support to extend the educational experience of our children through "enrichment" programs. These extracurricular activities both extend the educational foundation for our students and introduce new experiences outside standard instructional curriculum. FOPBE enhances the learning environment through a variety of community programs: |

FOPBE ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES:
Here are some additional activities supported with your help during the '07-'08 school year:
> Hire additional Instructional Resource Teachers
> Provide classroom hands-on enrichment
> Provide funds for teachers and instructional supplies
> Retain a librarian for our media center / library
> A variety of educational assemblies and field trips
> The Art Attack program
> Garden Science program
> Missoula Children's Theater
> Music supplies for vocal and instrumental music programs

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
