Services
Counselor Availability Counselors are available for STUDENTS on a drop-in basis before school, at lunch and after school. If a student would like to make an appointment with a counselor during class time they may do so through the “request to see counselor forms” located on counseling front counter. PARENTS may make an appointment to see their counselor by contacting student’s individual counselor by phone or email. We would prefer that your student attend the appointment with you, however,we realize there may be times when you want to meet with us privately. Grade Concerns/Questions The classroom teacher should always be your primary point of contact at MMHS with regard to your student's grade. A student struggling to understand concepts should check with their teachers to see when they offer tutoring. The teacher is the main person who sees the student engaged in the subject matter on a daily basis. Teachers are adept at the areas a student should concentrate on to improve performance in the class. Additionally, families have access to assignments/test scores, grade and attendance information online through ParentConnect. We recommend you check ParentConnect regularly. Please contact Shannon Raymond sraymond@sandi.net for further assistance with ParentConnect. If you have additional concerns or would like to talk to your Counselor, please make an appointment or email. The Counselors are happy to assist you in reaching your academic and personal goals. |
