Mira Mesa High School PTSA
Your Mira Mesa High School Parent Teacher Student Association always encourages students, parents, teachers and community members to join at any time. The funds generated from our annual Membership Drive are used to support various programs at our school. If you would like information about becoming a member of PTSA, please contact the VP of Membership today! What’s it all about? The MMHS association supports our staff and teachers by volunteering time to the school at various events throughout the year. We begin each year with Registration, Freshman Forum and hosting a Back-to-School Breakfast and Teachers Appreciation luncheon in May. We proudly support our graduating seniors with two cash scholarships each year. In addition we also help purchase Honor Cords for seniors who are graduating with a GPA of 3.5 or above. Our PTSA supports the arts by actively encouraging participation in the National PTA Reflections Program. How can you help? You can help by becoming a member of the PTSA. This is our only source of funding, but it does not obligate you to a time commitment unless you would like to become more involved! The PTSA has established various subcommittees in order to concentrate efforts on specific programs or goals. These include public relations, student awards, and various planning meetings. Students and parents are always welcome. Send your suggestions or comments to our email address, or plan to attend a PTSA Board Meeting. 2011/2012 National PTSA Reflections Contest This years theme is "Diversity Means......."
