I am proud to serve as the publicly elected voice of the schools, students and families of Sub-District B.

As an award-winning math teacher in public schools, I know we have a tough course ahead of us with challenging budget math. But I am committed to making this test count, because our students deserve our very best work.

As a teacher, I see first-hand the success that occurs when we keep class sizes small. Our children shouldn't pay for our budget mistakes with their education.

As the only person in my family to graduate from high school and go on to college, I know that reducing our dropout rate is critical to the future not just of our students but of our state.

I will work hard to reduce class sizes, protect art, music and career vocational education, and improve graduation rates.
