The San Diego Unified School District has adopted the Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTI²) model to improve student academic achievement and to close the achievement gap at all schools. RTI² focuses on providing timely individualized interventions designed to strengthen the academic performance of struggling students.

 

RTI² implementation in the District is facilitated through the online EXCEED RTI computerized program.
