Lincoln High Sets Enrollment Event
Students Entering New Campus in Fall Must Enroll

SAN DIEGO – Students wishing to attend the new Lincoln High School must officially enroll during enrollment sessions set next week at Gompers Charter Middle School. A parent or guardian must accompany the student.

The official enrollment sessions are scheduled at the following times in the Gompers auditorium, 1005 47th Street:
  • 9 a.m. to noon, Monday, April 23, through Thursday, April 26
  • 4-7 p.m., Monday, April 23, through Wednesday, April 25
  • 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 28.
Prospective students who live in the new school’s attendance area were sent postcards notifying them of this mandatory event. The student, along with a parent or guardian, needs to bring a copy of a current utility bill to provide proof of residence. The school is scheduled to open this fall and is located at 4777 Imperial Avenue in the Chollas View neighborhood.

One of San Diego’s most historic campuses, Lincoln is being rebuilt with funds from voter-approved Proposition MM. Four comprehensive high schools will be on campus: Lincoln Center for Public Safety, Lincoln Center for Science and Engineering, the Lincoln Center for the Arts, and the Ninth Grade Center for Social Justice.
