San Diego City Schools is once again participating in the countywide teddy bear drive to benefit Children's Hospital. Last year, staff and students filled a school bus with more than 1,300 donated teddy bears. This year, our goal is to fill two buses! Organized by School Police, the drive will run from December 1-7, 2004. New teddy bears can be dropped off at any school location or at the School Police Office at the Ed Center. Transportation Services will pick up the bears on December 8-10. On December 14, our school police officers will join other county law enforcement agencies to deliver the bears to Children's Hospital. If you have any questions, contact Becki Thome at (619) 725-7000 or bthome@mail.sandi.net.
