PARENT INFORMATION HOTLINE TO OPERATE AUG. 30-SEPT. 10

Confused, frazzled or otherwise anxious parents can get help regarding their beginning-of-school-year concerns by calling the San Diego City Schools Parent Information Hotline. The Hotline will operate weekdays between 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday, Aug. 30 through Friday, Sept. 10.

Hotline operators will help answer questions about enrollment, immunizations and other issues that often pop up for parents around the opening of the traditional school year. The first day of school is Sept. 7.

The telephone numbers are (619) 725-3323 and (619) 725-3324.

The Hotline is not set up to handle complaints. Parents who have a specific complaint are asked to call the principal of their child's school.

Your cooperation in publicizing the Hotline is appreciated.
