Mr. Van Grove (sometimes known is Rvan, Geoman, and of course Coach) is a Mathematics teacher at Mira Mesa High School. He coaches Soccer and Golf and is the advisor of the Solid Rock Bible Club. He has a bachelors from UCLA with a major in Math and a minor in Computer Science. His hobbies include; skiing, golf (now that's a surprise), table tennis, biking, hiking (ok walking), and getting hurt playing basketball (he used to be good according to him).
He would mention his kids but they have signed a non-disclosure agreement to protect their privacey. His wife of 26 years also remains in the silent background for fear of guilt by association.
