Home of the Marvin Mustangs
Mustangs are the descendant of horses the Spanish brought to America. They escaped into the wild and now roam freely in Western United States. These horses changed the lives of the Plain Indians and allowed them to move quickly from place to place. Mustangs are warm-blooded, and they have a full range of coat colors. In 1926, the population of mustangs was severely reduced due to illegal shooting. As a result, Congress passed a law prohibiting such actions, and the Mustangs continue to be protected by federal law to this day.
