Marvin Garden

Students at Marvin appear to have green thumbs! If you haven't noticed the flower garden that was established late last spring has come into full bloom. Students now have the job of trimming and weeding. They are learning the difference between a weed and a blossoming plant. The kinders and 1st graders have already planted their vegetable seeds and the library is full of sprouts. They are also watching the baby fish grow and have become friendly with "Bobbi" our gecko. We are finishing up our study of habitats and will be producing group movies on seven different habitats.
We have lost our librarian for awhile due to illness so if there is any one out there that is available to help please let me or the office know. Also, I am still looking for adult gardeners ( you don't have to have a green thumb)
