COMPUTER LAB

School is up and running full steam ahead. During the summer the flowers
in the garden grew and the 5th grade graduating class donated a bridge to
add to the beauty. The Hartung's pick it up, helped to paint and install
it! Also there's two BIG additions. During the summer a boy scout who was
working on getting his Eagle Scout badge took on the establishment of a
vegetable garden. The watering system and most of the wood was donated by
Lowe's and Hunter Irrigation. The S.D. Water Authority gave us $600
towards our garden too. Each grade level will have it's own planter box !
We are looking volunteers to assist in planting so for those out there
with green thumbs please consider helping the students plant. If
interested please let me know. Also new this year is the expansion of the
science lab so now all students, K-5 have a 3 stop rotation including
Science Lab, Computer Lab and Library!!! (And we're now even a science
magnet school!!!) The computer lab has also gained 7 new eMacs and a
scanner. So as you can see Marvin is as always improving and changing to
better meet the needs of our students and staff. Become a part of the
excitement volunteer !
