Annual Giving Campaign
Bloom is a site improvement committee of La Jolla Elementary. The mission of Bloom is to beautify the campus at LJES with new hardscape and landscape. The improvements to the campus are meant to inspire our children as well as improve our perception of LJES in the community. Fundraising for Bloom will be done in conjunction with Friends of La Jolla Elementary, Inc. Funds for Bloom projects will come from new fundraising opportunities in which the school and the community can participate. For more information, please contact Dina Buckley at 858-551-1158 . LJES Library Media Center FundThis fund was opened in May 2002 under the auspices of the San Diego Foundation. We envision this endowment fund as a long-term solution to support our school’s library program. A comprehensive library media program includes a diverse collection of quality books, classes in research skills, curriculum links and literacy events, all managed by an expert professional staff. We’ve made significant progress establishing our library but still have a long way to go. This library fund is essential to provide long-term financial support. All donations to the funds are 100% tax deductible. Donor levels for the fund include:
