Overview
Title IX Sexual Harassment and Non-Discrimination refer to federal and state anti-discrimination laws that ensure equality in education. The goal of this legislation is to ensure equal rights and opportunities for all students by promoting educational equity and eliminating discrimination and harassment on the basis of sex, sexual orientation, gender, ethnic group identification, race, ancestry, national origin, religion, color, and mental or physical disability in programs and activities conducted by local educational agencies that receive or benefit from federal or state financial assistance.
San Diego Unified School District strongly encourages its employees and students to report any incidents of sexual harassment and/or discrimination immediately so that complaints can be quickly and fairly resolved.
