Program Requirements

	Baccalaureate Degree (from a regionally accredited college or university) Fingerprint Clearance CBEST: California Basic Educational Skills Test passage CSET: Subject Matter Competence (by approved program or exam) US Constitution Exam or Coursework (two semester units or three quarter units) in the Provisions and Principles of the U.S. Constitution, or pass an examination given by a regionally-accredited college or university, in San Diego go to the San Diego County Office of Education.

The Elementary Bilingual Teaching Fellows program is suspended. No multiple subject applications will be accepted. The California budget crisis has changed the landscape of hiring for the 2008-2009 school year. As a result, the district does not anticipate the need to hire additional multiple subject bilingual teachers. A new cohort of interns will not begin this Spring.
