Informational Meetings

The Informational Meetings are purposefully organized to give Middle School/Junior High School 6-9 (English/Math, English/Science, Science/Math) and Secondary Teachers 9-12 (Physics, Chemistry and Math) the information needed to apply to any one of our intern programs. Application packets will be distributed during the meeting and advisement will be provided on the application process.

The meetings are held at the General Education Teacher Intern Programs office at the Mission Beach Center

  • Take I-5 to Sea World Drive
  • Take Sea World Drive to West Mission Bay Drive
  • Take West Mission Bay Drive to Mission Blvd.
  • Turn right (North) on Mission Blvd. for two blocks
  • Mission Beach Center is located on the corner of Mission Blvd. and Santa Barbara Place
  • Do not turn on Santa Barbara Place - Visitor parking is on school playground north of the school.

All meetings are held from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
The Elementary Bilingual Teaching Fellows program is suspended. No multiple subject applications will be accepted.
The California budget crisis has changed the landscape of hiring for the 2008-2009 school year. As a result, the district does not anticipate the need to hire additional multiple subject bilingual teachers. A new cohort of interns will not begin this Spring.
