Board Meeting Schedule and Information

Location
Unless otherwise noted in the schedule below, meetings are held at the Eugene Brucker Education Center Auditorium:

Parking
Overflow parking is available at First Southern Baptist Church  at 4353 Park Boulevard. The church is located opposite Birney Elementary on the east side of Park Boulevard between Meade Avenue and El Cajon Boulevard. This parking arrangement is available only during regularly scheduled board meetings (typically the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from 2:30-6:00 p.m.). In exchange for the use of the church parking lot, the church will use a portion of the Education Center parking lot on Monday evenings from 5:30-9:00 p.m.

Structure
SDUSD Board of Education meetings are generally held twice a month, on the second and fourth Tuesdays. The typical structure of a meeting at the specified time is as follows:

• 12 p.m.
  Board meets for closed session in Room 2249.
• 3 p.m.
  Board reconvenes in open (public) session in the auditorium with up to the first 30 minutes devoted to Public Testimony on items not listed on the agenda. There is a 3 minute maximum per speaker.
• End of Meeting
  Remaining Public Testimony is heard for items not on the agenda. There is a 3 minute maximum per speaker.
