No Place For Hate
Hancock Elementary will soon be designated a “No Place for Hate” school. Students and staff have been participating in several activities to promote positivity and mutual respect among all students. We kicked off the project with school-wide assemblies. Classrooms are engaging in conversations and reading books regarding diversity and bullying. Students have been “caught” doing random acts of kindness toward each other. When “caught” students receive a ticket that goes in a designated container in the office. Once full, our Vice-Principal will be doing something special for all students. Students will also be creating a paper patch depicting their individual heritage. All patches at school will be combined to create a diversity quilt that will be displayed.![]() |

We are the heart of America! Our school is a very special place, located inside the active duty military housing complex of Murphy Canyon in the rolling hills and picturesque canyons of Tierrasanta.
