For a fee, a variety of additional enrichment classes are offered after the end of the school day on the Green School campus. These classes are run by local organizations that have been approved by the Green School Principal. Some of the programs currently in session are Martial Arts, basketball through the Athletic Kids Association, and Heartlight, an aerobic dance class. All Green students receive flyers announcing upcoming programs. Classes are available for students from kindergarten through fifth grade. For more information and REGISTRATION FORMS for all after school classes, contact the Green School Office.

We offer an after-school program exclusively at Green Elementary and also have a competitive basketball club team. We now also offer Flag Football, Cheerleading, and Soccer.
Our mission is to “Build Young Leaders Through Athletics.”
AEROBICS
|
"Heartlight Aerobics" is offered each Spring at Green School by California School Fitness (CSF), a non-profit organization established to provide after school fitness programming for girls and boys. CSF has been offering classes for fourteen years and currently holds classes in seventy schools in and around San Diego CA, Baltimore, MD and Hanover, PA, with thousands of children participating. With the declining fitness levels of children there is an obvious need for fitness programs that appeal to children of every level of fitness activities that stress fun and individual achievement. The goal of CSF is to reinforce the idea with children that exercise is fun and to build healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
