Overview
iHigh Virtual Academy (iHVA) is a new, innovative public high school providing students individualized opportunities to earn a high school diploma through accredited online courses and resources. iHVA provides a rigorous, college-preparatory online school program that meets the needs of today’s learners and prepares graduates for successful, post-secondary learning and careers in a global marketplace.
What: iHigh combines the best of both online and traditional settings with most teacher interaction and daily lessons conducted online, and face-to-face opportunities for labs, tutoring and activities.
Why: Online courses provide greater flexibility for students and expand the course offerings available to them. This includes opportunities for accelerated learning, Advanced Placement courses, Community College courses, and credit recovery.
Access: iHiGH Virtual Academy students will have 24/7/365 access to courses with a District-issued loaner laptop and free internet.
