Memorial Preparatory for Scholars and Athletes (6-8)
San Diego Unified is pleased to announce the opening of a “new” school on the “old” Memorial campus in Fall 2008. Memorial Prep is currently accepting applications for 6-8 grade students who live within the Memorial boundary area. First priority is given to students who reside in the immediate residential area. Millennial Tech Middle School to Open Fall 2008
San Diego Unified School District is proud to announce the opening of Millennial Tech Middle (MTM) School in Fall 2008. Applications are now being accepted for the new magnet school, which will focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The program will provide an exemplary and relevant educational program while meeting rigorous California state curriculum standards.
Millennial Tech Middle School will open as a dedicated magnet school; all students must apply to attend. The school will not have an attendance boundary and is open to all 6th and 7th grade students in and outside the San Diego Unified School District. Located at 1110 Carolina Lane, San Diego, 92102. The school will grow to include grades 6-8 in the 2009-10 school year.

Magnet
Schools Assistance Program Grant Update
San
Diego Unified School District received notice from the Honorable
Susan A. Davis, on Friday, September 21 that the District
is the recipient of the 2007-2010 Magnet Schools Assistance
Program (MSAP) grant. We have been awarded $3.5 million for
the first year. It is anticipated that the grant will be in
effect for three years. More detailed information is due to
follow and we will continue to update this site.
