Newsweek and U.S. News and World Report.

its 2015 list
of the best public high schools. SDEMC ranked 271st among
California high schools (up from 338th in 2014) and 1,320th nationally (up from 1,511th in 2014). Over 30,000
high schools across the United States were evaluated by U.S.
News and World Report in
determining the rankings. SDEMC achieved its second Silver Medal Award
based on its academic achievement.
