Welcome to Wilson Middle School! At Wilson, we believe that our work is about creating an environment that promotes healthy development for all of our students. We believe that our work must always aim to guide both the academic as well as the social/emotional development of our young adults. Middle School is a critical time in a student's life. It is a time when students form their worldview, develop strong beliefs, and create a self image of who they are as individuals. It is a time when they become their own individual, with values, beliefs, ambitions, and reserves. It is an exciting time! The staff and community of Wilson Middle school understand the important task of guiding this development. We see this as an honored mission. At Wilson, the CHILD is at the heart of our decisions. We aim to create a family atmosphere where each child's uniqueness is recognized, and his/her strengths are celebrated and capitalized upon. Each student is given many options to exercise and develop their ability to make good choices and become the leader they are meant to be. We work with parents and the community to build a place that nurtures growth in our students.
