Counseling Office

The goal of the guidance office is to assist every student to graduate from high school and prepare successfully for post-high school plans. Counselors are available to see students before or after school. Students who are unable to see their counselors during these times because of transportation, work, or other conflicts, may arrange appointments through the counseling secretaries.

Students are strongly encouraged to seek assistance from their counselor for any concern, whether it be of an educational, career, or personal / social nature. Counselors can make sure that all resources and personnel of the school are available to you (tutoring, special programs, peer mediators, assistance with discipline, attendance and college preparation and planning). Your counselor can make referrals to on-campus group counseling and to appropriate community resources.
