Fall Sports
Football, Field Hockey, Cross Country (Boys & Girls),
Girls Golf and Girls Tennis, and
Girls Volleyball
Madison High School has had some very successful sports
seasons to kick off the school year.
Madison’s Varsity football team has won our league title six out of the
last seven years and in 2010 won San Diego CIF championship and went on to play
in the State Bowl Game at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA. Our Cross Country team has also been on
the upswing the past couple of years under the leadership of Coach Gell. Field Hockey has also been building its
team and is in great hands under the leadership of Coach Silvas. Our Girls
Tennis team has vastly improved from a year ago with the team tripling its
number of athletes. One of our
strongest fall sports is our girls volleyball teams. We have freshman, JV and Varsity teams that are all very
competitive. Girls Golf rounds out
the fall sports program. It is the newest sport at Madison and the rage has
really caught on, as many more girls are involved in the excitement of
athletics in the Fall.
