AVID is an elective class that supports you in academics and prepares you for high school and ultimately college
In AVID class, you will: • Learn to get yourself organized • Become an expert at taking Cornell style notes • Participate in tutoring • Attend field trips to high schools and universities • Listen to and learn from guest speakers • Participate in Junior Achievement’s Economics for Success program • Learn to be reflective about your learning • Work in groups and become an expert problem solver
