Associated Student Body
The associated student body, or student government, serves Innovation Middle School by voicing and addressing student opinions and needs, upholding the SURGE STANDARD, overseeing the expenditures of student funds, raising funds through the Student Store and school wide fundraisers, supporting and recognizing campus clubs and organizations, and sponsoring many school-wide programs and events.
The primary goals of ASB are to create a memorable experience for all students on campus, to promote iMiddle unity and spirit, and to grow as student leaders. ASB actively works to ensure that student activities and campus life are alive and well.
2011-2012 ASB Mission Statement
As the Associated Student Body (ASB) of Innovation Middle School, we pledge to stand as role models for our peers and represent our school both on and off campus. As an iMiddle student, we are each given the opportunity to be part of a supportive learning environment. The ASB strives to make each students’ experience meaningful so that they may reflect on it positively. Through continued involvement, students will be motivated to put forth their best effort, and in return, will feel safe, confident, and rewarded for their commitment to maximizing their individual potential.
