Silver Gate Tile Project
Create your own hand painted, kiln-fired ceramic tile that will be installed permanently on the walls of Silver Gate! Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards enhancing the education of our children at Silver Gate, as well as to beautify our school with a lasting memory for your child. How can you and your child make a commemorative tile?
Go to Claytime Ceramics located at 1863 Bacon Street in Ocean Beach - (619) 223-6050. Tell them you are with Silver Gate and give them cash or check made out to “Friends of Silver Gate”, create your tile and we’ll pick it up and install it on campus.
On campus tile painting: Several times throughout the year, we will bring the tiles and painting supplies to Silver Gate after school so that your child can create a tile on campus. Look for information in the monthly Silver Gate newsletter / website for dates and times. The first event will be held at the Harvest Festival.
