The following fundraising opportunities are available to all schools. It is recommended that principals work with the school community to determine which opportunities, if any, are appropriate. In conjunction with America Recycles Day, a national campaign to raise awareness and encourage Americans to recycle responsibly, All Green Electronics Recycling is calling on all schools in California, K-12, public and private to join together to divert over one million pounds of e-waste from landfills. All Green has pledged to donate up to $50,000 or more to participating schools based on the volume collected during this challenge. AE donates a limited number of $25 gift cards to college and high
school drug-free volunteer events that strive to
keep students safe. Requests should be submitted on letterhead at
least six weeks before a donation is needed and
should include a brief description of the organization and event, a
Federal Tax Exempt Number and how AE will be
recognized as a contributing sponsor of the event. If the request
is granted, a letter and gift card will arrive
within 6 weeks. Schools can
redeem labels from eligible
Campbell's products for merchandise by enrolling in the
Campbell's Labels for Education program online or by calling
(800) 424-5331. Participating schools can collect labels from any
consumer who wishes to supply them. Schools then send in the collected
labels and order
merchandise online or through the Labels for Education Catalog. |
