Our School Counselor, Ms. Garcia, provides social and emotional support and guidance to our students. For the Middle School students, her services include creating four year plans for high school, helping with the transition from middle to high school, college counseling, and academic reviews and support. In addition, Ms. Garcia facilitates conflict mediation, small group, and individual counseling. Our Character Education program focusing on our Golden Hill Eagle Path and positive character traits is coordinated by Ms. Garcia and the Character Education committee. For families in our community, our counseling center is a fabulous resource of information and referrals to numerous community organizations that can assist with housing, medical, food, clothing banks, divorce/separation, immigration issues, and family counseling. Ms Garcia is available for drop-in or appointments to discuss and support families with other needs regarding behavior at home, parenting questions, or academic guidance.
