Parent Connection Room
At Hancock Elementary School we have many resources for our students and families. One of the resources is our Parent Connection Room, which is located on the school campus in Room 38. The Parent Connection Room is a family oriented environment which is filled with a plethora of information. It's purpose is to connect incoming/long-term/exiting families with their community. As you walk into the Parent Connection Room you will find an enormous wall of resources filled with information for the military families. Available to the visitors are several computers where students and parents can use to access tutoring programs, talk to deployed family members via skype, email, or just surf the internet.
Every Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Parent Connection Room is filled with parent volunteers who are ready to welcome new families to the school and community. Beside from volunteering their time assisting teachers in the classroom, our parent volunteers have dedicated their time to help incoming families to becoming acculimated in the new school.
All parents and students are encouraged to visit the Parent Connection Room. Please sign in at the office during school hours.
