Meet Principal Lewis Welcome to Hancock Elementary School!My goal as the principal is to continue providing each child with new challenges that will result in a rewarding school experience. Academic emphasis on the content areas of literacy, math, social studies, and science will remain a priority as well as providing an academic program that builds on each year to achieve district and state standards. This school year promises to bring many new learning experiences filled with high student expectations, outcomes, and a commitment to excellence in all of our academic endeavors. I urge you to become actively involved in your child’s education and our school. Research shows that parental involvement in education is one of the most important boosts to student achievement. We offer so many ways to get involved, from pitching in with your child's classroom to joining organizations such as the School Site Council, Site Governance Team, and the Parent Teacher Association. Theres are just a few ways in which your interest and involvement will help form a solid home/school partnership.
