Clubs and Organizations at Holmes
Mileage Club The Mileage Club offers our students the opportunity to run/walk every Tuesday and Thursday morning before school from 8:40 a.m. - 8:55 a.m. Students improve their health, build their self esteem and experience their own personal power! Based on a non-competitive philosophy, the Mileage Club focuses on the completion of both personal and collaborative goals. While running/walking is the core activity, the Mileage Club participants also gain discipline, dedication and the skills to set and achieve goals as well as to make new friends and having FUN!! Visit the Mileage Club web page for more information. Student Council The Student Council is a student organization that provides opportunities for our students to actively participate in student government. Officers are elected by the students. The Student Council conducts a variety of events and activities throughout the school year. With input from all students and staff, the Student Council sets a yearly agenda of activities that promote school spirit, charitable work, and positive recognition. Fundraisers are conducted to earn monies to pay for student activities and to support classroom learning.
