Special Education is Special at Sessions
At Sessions Elementary, our special education program offers a challenging and nurturing environment that aims to help each child reach his or her potential academically and socially. We have a strategy called the "least restrictive environment” that adheres to quality educational practices.
Students who qualify for special education services are included in our general education classrooms to the extent that it is appropriate and educationally sound. Students also spend time in a special education academic support room to receive individual and small group instruction in support of their IEP (Individualized Educational Program) goals.
