Summer Collection Drives - Bring in September
1 sandwich bag of boxtops or soda pop tops - 30 minutes of service, office
1 printer cartridge, cell-phone - 15 minutes of service, office
1 ream of white or colored printer/copier paper - 15 minutes of service, office
Box of glue-sticks - 15 minutes of service, office 
 
Sponsorship - Suspended over Summer - Sign-up for Sponsorship in September
Sponsor a Storefront Teen Shelter Dinner for 20. Family and Organizations can sign-up to sponsor opportunities for first Thursday of each month. Email jsims@sandi.net for availability and more information.

FREE SUMMER CAMP at MISSION BAY HIGH Earn Summer Service too (apply service hours to 2013-2014) Current 6th and 7th grade student volunteers are needed to help teachers demonstrate Spanish, French, or Mandarin language learning strategies at the International Foreign Language Teachers Conference. IFLT will be held at Mission Bay High School, July 9-12. Students must sign-up and commit to attending all four days. Snacks will be provided. Space is limited so sign-up now with jsims@sandi.net.

First Saturday: Ongoing Beach Clean-Ups. Normally meet at the foot of Grand near the Lifeguard Tower on the first Saturday of the Month. Check with PB Town Council to confirm event.

MAY 3 - 2012-2013 SERVICE DEADLINE: To be eligible for awards and end-of-the-year activities, 4th period teachers have verified and submitted all service hours. Any hours earned from May 6 onward, may be applied to 2013-2014 only with prior approval from Mrs. Sims.
 
Liability Forms in Front Office: Anytime you attend an event off campus, SDUSD asks that your parent sign and submit a liability form to our office before traveling to the event. 
 
Remember to always have the activity sponsor or adult in charge, sign your planner at the time each service event or activity is completed. Take photos, request a "Thank You" card or letter, or save a brochure as evidence of your participation.
