homework Do Your Homework @ the Library Program

As part of Mayor Kevin Faulconer's One San Diego budget plan to reestablish the City's libraries as centers for learning and civic engagement for San Diego children, the new Do Your Homework @ the Library afterschool program provides free homework assistance to students in grades K-8 at 18 San Diego Public Library locations. Each Homework Center is staffed with professional Tutor/Learning Coordinators as well as volunteer “homework coaches” available to help students with school assignments. The Central Library’s Homework Center is open every day, and 17 additional Homework Centers are open five days a week. No registration is required.
