Bravo Zulu Scholarship (sponsored by the Midway Foundation) $1000 (2) Scholarships for each school at SDHS
· Must be a senior at SDHS planning to continue their education at a trade school, two year or four year university.
· This scholarship is for seniors who have gone beyond the call of duty.
· From masons to marketers, from equipment operators, the Midway staff and volunteers believe in the wealth of career opportunities in the trades and professions practiced aboard an aircraft carrier.
· Complete the SDHS Common Scholarship with the supporting documents
Norman G. Levi Family Scholarship $3500 for a four year college or university (2)
· Must be a SDHS senior planning to attend a two or four year college or university in the San Diego area
· Must be a senior attending the School of International Studies
· Have a 3.0 GPA or higher
· The awardee must be willing to work a minimum of 10 hours per week while attending college. This may be paid or volunteer work if paid work is not available.
· The awardee must contact the Levi family at least twice yearly to report their progress.
· The awardee will be part of a mentoring/tutoring program
· This is a renewable scholarship if the awardee maintains a 2.3 GPA and fulfills the items listed above.

Class of 1960 Scholarship Award (2) $1000 awards for the complex
· Must be a SDHS senior enrolling in a community college
· Must have a 3.5 GPA in English
· Have an overall 3.0 GPA or higher
· Have a recommendation from an English teacher
· Complete the SDHS Common Scholarship Application with supporting documents
Irma Risty Scholarship $2000
· Must be a senior attending the School of International Studies or the School of Science and Technology
· Must be planning to continue their education at a four year college or university
· Must be planning to pursue a career in mathematics or engineering
· Must have participated in extra-curricular mathematics activities such as math competitions
· Have a 3.1 GPA or higher with demonstrated excellence in mathematics
· Submit a written recommendation from a member of the school’s mathematics faculty
· Must demonstrate financial need
· Completed the Common Scholarship Application with supporting documents
First in Family Scholarship Award $1000 (1) for the complex
· Must be the first in their family to enroll in a two or four year college or university
· Have a G.P.A of 3.0 or higher
· Complete the SDHS Common Scholarship Application with supporting documents
Burr C. Passenheim Science/Math Awards $500 (2) one female and one male awardee
· Must be a senior attending the School of Science and Technology or the School of International Studies
· Must be planning to continue their education at a four year college or university
· Must be planning to major in math, physics, chemistry, engineering or computer science
· Must show excellence in advanced courses in Science and/or Math
· Have a 3.5 GPA or higher

Julia Bowman Robinson Math Award $1000
· Must be a graduating senior at the School of International Studies
· Must be planning to attend a four year college or university
· Must be an outstanding math student in advanced math courses
· Have a 3.5 GPA or Higher

SDHS Foundation Scholarship Award (sponsored by the Warren-Neely Foundation) $750 (5) one for each school
· Must be a graduating senior planning to attend a two or four year college or university
· Have a 3.0 GPA of Higher
· Complete the SDHS Common Scholarship Application with supporting documents
L.M Temko Scholarship Award $1000 (1) for the complex
· Must be a graduating senior residing in the Sherman Elementary School district
· Must have evidence of community service in the Sherman Elementary area
· Have 2.5 G.P.A

Bill Fiss Scholarship Award $1000 plus laptop computer
· Must be a graduating Senior planning to attend a two or four year college or university
· Must be a member of the ASB or the Golf team or enrolled in the Academy of Finance

· Must demonstrate financial need
David Batchelder Memorial Scholarship $1000 (1) for each School at the complex
· Must be a senior planning to enroll in a four year university
· Must have a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher
· Must show involvement in community service

Karen deLaurier IB Scholarship (2) $1000
· Must be a graduating senior in the School of International Studies
· Must be either an IB Diploma Candidate or an IB Certificate Candidate
· Must be planning to attend a four year college or university
