Traffic Safety
Please note drop-off zone and No Parking Zone - The school parking lot is for teachers and staff to park in. Please park on Avenida Magnifica or in the parking lot at Jerabek Park. Parents should not attempt to drop children off by driving into the school parking lot. The safety of our children is important to all of us - so please note also that we should not U-turn by the school, nor turn left out of the staff parking lot.

Drop-off Procedure Reminders
  • Drive up to cuing lane (please do not park in cuing lane)
  • Remain in car
  • Move with the flow of traffic
  • Have children exit car on sidewalk
  • Please continue to stop sign at the crosswalk
Help keep our students safe and avoid all U-turns! Thank you!

Also, don't forget when the rope is up over the driveway, you cannot drive into the parking lot, unless you have a handicap sticker. It is up for the safety of our students. The rope is up from 8:45 am - 9:10 am and from 3:15 pm - 3:45 pm.

The internet is a wonderful learning tool for the whole family. Go online with your children as they surf, and visit

Proposition MM
Are you interested in the status of Proposition MM, the district's $1.5 billion bond measure for renovating and repairing our schools? You can find a report at the school office or online at
http://www.propmm.com/.

Super Service Commendation Forms
For years, the district has had procedures for parents to express dissatifaction with a teacher or staff member, but no formal way for them to say "thanks". That has now changed.
Through the Super Service Commendation forms and drop-off boxes (sitting on the front counter of most schools), parents have a way to let the district know when they've had an excellent encounter with their child's teacher, site staff members, and principal.
The boxes are the first - and most visible - part of the district's new Family Friendly Schools Initiative.

Second Step
Second Step - a research based violence prevention program, has come to Jerabek! Parent volunteers, in collaboration with classroom teachers, are working on empathy training, impulse control, anger management, and problem solving. This program will greatly benefit our students!
