As part of the 21st Century Skills Program all students will use computers that have Internet access through SDUSD technology services. While sites are secured, all students must have a parent permission form on file at the school site in order to access the Internet using school computers.
All teachers will engage students by infusing technology into their daily instructional programs. Classrooms are equipped with state of the art technologies (i.e. Promethean interactive whiteboards, laptop computers, document cameras, LCD projectors, DVD/VCRs, wireless networking, amplification system, etc.). In addition, the Technology/Media Literacy Preparation Teacher will work in collaboration with classroom teachers to provide a standards-based library, media and technology program to all students on a weekly basis. Students will gain knowledge and skills that will enable them to be productive citizens in the 21st Century.
