    ·         8th Grade Students attending Scripps Ranch High School:  There will be a rolling board for the next 2 weeks before school, at both lunches, and after school of the students who are on the list to attend Scripps Ranch High School in the fall.  If you do not see your name on the list and you believe you should be on the list, please see your counselor.  The SRHS counselors will meet with these students on March 7th in the auditorium and again on March 11th in the library.

    ·         Would you like to see one of your teachers kiss a snake?  Would you like to see one of your teachers turned in to a human ice cream sundae? You can buy votes during lunch from ASB members and the "winning" teachers will perform these tasks at lunch.   ASB is starting a community service campaign called Pasta for Pennies to raise money for the research and treatments of childhood cancers such as leukemia.  Each student will be receiving an individual coin collection box.  Your job is to look through the console of your parent's car, your couch cushions, etc. for as much spare change as you can find and bring it all in!  (Bills are welcome too!)  Take the money to the bigger box in your advisory class each day.  The winning class will get free lunch from Olive Garden and there will be other smaller games and contests along the way.  More info to come through advisory.  Please help us stop this horrible disease.  (Chambless)

    ·         Talent Show - Have you come up with creative and unique ideas yet?  Have you created your group yet?  We are looking for groups of dancers, magicians, comedians, garbage can drummers, funny skits, etc.  Tryouts aren't until after Spring break so there is plenty of time to plan a great act.  (Chambless)

    ·         There is space available for the 2013-2014 Wangenheim PrimeTime.  This program is intended for children that can participate five days per week after school.  You can pick up the application in the office and mail it to the address provided.
