Elementary K-5: Students are enrolled in a highly structured classroom. Integrated Units of Study follow the CMA and/or CAPA Blueprint Standards.Curriculum incorporates differentiated materials and activity-based learning. There is a strong emphasis on developing communication and social skills.
Middle School Gr. 6-8: Students enrolled in the middle school program follow CMA or CAPA Blueprint Standards.Units of Study are aligned with grade level curriculum and materials are differentiated to meet the diverse needs of the student population.By 8th grade, students are introduced to project-based learning, campus jobs, student-run businesses, and community-based instruction.
High School Gr. 9-12: Students enrolled in the high school program receive a letter of recognition in lieu of a diploma. Students follow a block schedule with Functional English, Functional Math, Functional Health/Science, Functional Transition Skills, and Physical Education. Units of study reflect the CAPA Blueprint Standards through hands-on, project-based learning. Additionally, the high school curriculum includes self-advocacy, community-based instruction, campus/community jobs, and student run businesses.
